Global superstar Mariah Carey is set to return to Manila for a one-night concert on October 14 as part of her newly announced world tour, “The Celebration of Mimi.”
The multi-platinum, Grammy-winning artist shared the news on social media Monday morning (Manila time), revealing the first stops on her tour.
“We’re taking The Celebration of Mimi worldwide! I can’t wait to see you all during this special anniversary year of the Mimi album ❤️✨🎉 more dates to be announced soon!” Carey wrote.
In addition to Manila, Carey is scheduled to perform in other Asian countries, with more dates expected to be announced.
This will be her first performance in the Philippines since 2018.
Carey is known for a long list of iconic hits, including “Emotions,” “Without You,” “My All,” “One Sweet Day,” and the holiday favorite “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
Details on the concert venue and ticket sales are expected to be released soon.
