President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is set to grant a one-time Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) to government workers, Malacañang announced on Friday.
Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said in a briefing that the President is expected to sign the document authorizing the incentive’s release.
When asked when state employees may receive the SRI, Castro said: “Hintayin po natin,” adding that the administration will share “good news” once the order is finalized.
Last year, Marcos issued Administrative Order No. 27, which granted qualified government personnel—including teachers and military and uniformed personnel—an SRI of ₱20,000 each for fiscal year 2024.
Details on the 2025 SRI, including the amount and release schedule, will be disclosed once the new administrative order is issued.
