Marcos shifts focus to immediate solutions for everyday issues

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said his administration will now focus on delivering faster and more practical solutions to everyday problems, following public dissatisfaction over slow government service and political distractions.

Speaking during the pilot episode of his “BBM Podcast,” Marcos reflected on the results of the 2025 midterm elections, which he said carried two clear messages: Filipinos are tired of politics and disappointed with how government services are being delivered.

“Para sa akin, I have two conclusions dito sa eleksyon.

The President acknowledged that the administration had focused too much on big-ticket infrastructure projects and had not paid enough attention to practical, day-to-day problems.

“Talagang mamadaliin na namin ‘yung immediate solutions na puwedeng gawin kaagad,” he said, citing traffic congestion and long public transport lines as among the issues needing urgent action.
