Marcos Jr. confirms new cabinet lineup: Key officials retained, several replaced

Malacañang has released an updated roster of Cabinet officials, confirming which key figures have been retained and who have been let go under the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

Retained in their posts:

  • Jose Arnulfo “Wick” Veloso, President and General Manager of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS)
  • Lynette V. Ortiz, President and CEO of Land Bank of the Philippines
  • Michael O. de Jesus, President and CEO of the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP)
  • Eduardo “Eddie” Guillen, Administrator of the National Irrigation Administration (NIA)
  • Mel Robles, General Manager of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO)
  • Emmanuel Mercado, President and CEO of PhilHealth

Removed from office:

  • Mark Llandro Mendoza, Head of the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office
  • Secretary Roman Felix, Presidential Adviser on Military and Police Affairs
  • John Arenas, President and CEO of the Philippine National Oil Company Renewables Corporation (PNOC Renewables)

The changes are seen as part of the President’s ongoing efforts to streamline government operations and realign leadership with his policy direction.
