Manny Pacquiao Begins Training for Boxing Comeback This July

Manny Pacquiao is officially back in training, marking the start of his return to the boxing ring this July.

The eight-division world champion kicked off his training camp in Los Angeles, USA, as he prepares for a highly anticipated comeback fight.

“This is the beginning of another chapter. I’m inspired, I’m motivated, and I’m ready to show the world that I still have what it takes,” Pacquiao said.
“Laban ito para sa bayan. Para sa lahat ng naniniwala na hindi pa tapos ang laban,” he added.

The 45-year-old boxing legend is expected to face Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight title, though official confirmations are still awaited.

Pacquiao previously retired in 2021 to run for president in the 2022 Philippine elections. He later ran for senator in 2025 but failed to secure a seat.

He last fought in August 2021, losing to Yordenis Ugas by unanimous decision. Pacquiao holds a professional record of 62 wins, 8 losses, and 2 draws, with 39 knockouts.
