Mang Inasal has expanded its drive-thru footprint with the opening of a new branch in Sto. Tomas, Batangas—marking the brand’s first drive-thru store in South Luzon and the fourth of its kind nationwide. With this latest addition, Mang Inasal now operates 597 stores across the country.
The opening comes as competition intensifies in the Philippines’ quick-service restaurant sector, with major brands accelerating expansion to reach new communities and adapt to changing dining habits. For Mang Inasal, the push reflects a broader strategy focused on accessibility and convenience without losing its core identity.
“We are bringing the Mang Inasal experience closer to more consumers, wherever they are and however they prefer to enjoy it,” said Mang Inasal president Mike V. Castro. He noted that the brand’s aim is to serve its signature Ihaw-Sarap offerings in formats that suit today’s lifestyles—whether dine-in, takeout, delivery, or drive-thru—while preserving the sense of familiarity that has defined the brand.
The Sto. Tomas store follows a series of drive-thru launches, including new outlets in Norzagaray, Bulacan and JP Rizal Nangka in Marikina, the latter being Mang Inasal’s first drive-thru location in Metro Manila. These builds trace back to the brand’s pioneer drive-thru branch in Sta. Maria, Bulacan, which opened in December 2024.
Beyond drive-thru formats, Mang Inasal has rolled out new stores in several high-growth areas, including Pandi and Plaridel in Bulacan; Binangonan Highway in Rizal; Dagupan City, Pangasinan; Arayat, Pampanga; Naic, Cavite; Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro; Naval, Biliran; Maribago, Cebu; Maasin Centro, Southern Leyte; and General Santos City. In Metro Manila, recent openings include branches in Newport, Pasay City and Batasan, Quezon City.
The expansion is being carried out alongside a continuing renovation program aimed at refreshing older locations and enhancing the overall dining environment. As Mang Inasal widens its reach, the brand continues to balance rapid growth with its long-standing appeal—anchored on familiar flavors, shared meals, and the everyday moments that have made it a staple for Filipino diners.
