On her seventh day back in the Philippines, beloved TikTok personality Mama Lulu traveled with her family to Pangasinan to attend Mass at the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag — a special trip that brought back many childhood memories.
In a TikTok video, Mama Lulu shared how meaningful the visit was, recalling how her family used to frequently visit the province for church.
“Excited ako makabalik dahil 18 years akong di nakapunta diyan,” she said.
“Kahit sa Makati ako pinalaki, ang daddy ko [ay] from San Fabian, Pangasinan.”
(“I’m excited to return since it has been 18 years since I last visited. Even though I was raised in Makati City, my father is from San Fabian, Pangasinan.”)
After attending Mass, Mama Lulu delighted in eating tupig, a well-loved Pangasinense delicacy made from sticky rice and coconut, and did some souvenir shopping before heading home.
Earlier in her trip, she revisited Bangkal, Makati, where she grew up and raised her own family.
Now on a two-week vacation, her first in 18 years, Mama Lulu has been making the most of her time — visiting her favorite food spots in Manila, savoring bulalo in Tagaytay, and reconnecting with old friends.
