Malacañang declares June 24 non-working holiday in Masbate, Albay

Malacañang has declared June 24 as a special non-working day in Tabaco City, Albay and in Masbate province to celebrate their respective festivals.

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, authorized by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., issued and signed Proclamations 903 and 904 on May 9 to formalize the declaration.

Masbate will celebrate the Bagat Dagat Festival, while Tabaco City, Albay will celebrate the Tabak Festival.

The proclamations said it is fitting and appropriate to allow celebrating and participating in the two separate occasions.
