Luis Manzano returns as “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” premieres

“Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” officially kicked off Saturday night, marking the much-awaited return of Luis Manzano as host and the introduction of a brand-new batch of housemates.

During a chat with Kuya in the iconic confession room, Luis shared his excitement and nerves about returning to the PBB house after more than a decade.

“May kaunting kaba,” he admitted. “Kahit nagawa ko na ito dati, hindi mawawala ang excitement at kaba.”

Luis joins a powerhouse hosting lineup that includes Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, Kim Chiu, Melai Cantiveros, Enchong Dee, Alexa Ilacad, Gabbi Garcia, and Mavy Legaspi.

The season’s premiere also unveiled 12 new housemates, featuring Eliza Borromeo, Rave Victoria, Iñigo Jose, Lella Ford, Reich Alim, and Fred Moser from Star Magic, alongside Anton Vinzon, Waynona Collings, Caprice Cayetano, Lee Victor, John Clifford, and Ashley Sarmiento from Sparkle.

They join the previously announced eight: Joaquin Arce, Sofia Pablo, Miguel Vergara, Princess Aliyah, Heath Jornales, Krystal Mejes, Carmelle Collado, and Marco Masa.

The Celebrity Collab franchise is a groundbreaking partnership between ABS-CBN and GMA, which first launched earlier this year. The inaugural season paired Star Magic and Sparkle artists, with Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca emerging as champions.

Following its premiere, “PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” will air weeknights at 9:40 p.m., Saturdays at 6:15 p.m., and Sundays at 10:05 p.m.

Since its debut in 2005, “Pinoy Big Brother” has become a pop culture institution — serving as a springboard for some of the biggest names in Philippine entertainment today.
