LTO plans to expand distribution of license plates through malls

DILIMAN, Quezon City — Aside from distributing motor vehicle license plates by express courier service, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) is eyeing the use of various mall establishments to expand its distribution system in the National Capital Region and soon throughout the country. 

In a coordination meeting with stakeholders, LTO executive director Atty. Greg Pua Jr. layed out plans to expand the distribution of license plates for quicker and easier access in the National Capital Region. 

“This initiative, under the leadership of LTO chief Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II, aims to make LTO services more accessible and convenient by bringing plate distribution closer to the public,” Pua cited. 

Present during the meeting were representatives from SM Supermalls sales executive Jobelle Carreon and Engr. Dennis M. Martel, along with LTO-NCR Operations Division chief Hanzley Lim, Plate Section Releasing chief Pablito Pandi and property section officer-in-charge Rambo Bautista. Also in attendance was Atty. Gerald Cesar G. Chavez, head executive assistant from the Office of the LTO Assistant Secretary.
