The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has suspended the operations of three transport network companies for one year over violations of franchise regulations.
The suspension follows guidance from the Department of Transportation and aims to support compliance with rules governing public transportation services.
Chairperson Vigor Mendoza II said the companies—Leggo Information Technology Solutions, Get Express Global Corporation, and Ipara Technology and Solutions—did not respond to show cause orders issued for not meeting regulatory requirements.
The violations involved the lack of active digital platforms for their partners and clients, which are required under LTFRB guidelines for ride-hailing operations.
Separate show cause orders were sent to each company, but no responses were received, leading to the decision to suspend operations.
Mendoza noted that the LTFRB has the authority to enforce compliance, including suspending or canceling authorizations to ensure public safety and orderly transport services.
The public is advised to avoid using the services of the three companies while the suspension remains in effect and to check the regulatory status of service providers before engaging them.
Other ride-hailing companies and their partners are reminded to follow LTFRB rules to maintain smooth operations and service delivery.
