The Light Rail Transit Line 1 operated on reduced service on Thursday morning after a technical issue affected normal train operations.
The Light Rail Manila Corporation, the private operator of the line, said services were limited as of 10:07 a.m. to two separate segments of the route.
Trains were operating only between Dr. Santos Station and Baclaran Station, as well as between Fernando Poe Jr. Station and Central Terminal Station.
The operator said an engineering team had been deployed to identify and fix the technical fault affecting the system.
No additional details were immediately released regarding the cause of the disruption or the estimated time for full restoration.
LRMC issued an advisory apologizing for the inconvenience and asked passengers for understanding while repairs were underway.
The LRT-1 system has 25 stations stretching from Fernando Poe Jr. Station in Quezon City to Dr. Santos Station in Parañaque City.
