The local government of Pugo, in partnership with the National Tobacco Administration (NTA), extended assistance to local tobacco farmers through seedbed preparation and tobacco sowing activities on October 15, 2026, in Barangay Tavora Proper.
With the support of Mayor Geralyn Garcia Bulao-Caoili and Municipal Agriculturist Dr. Letecia S. Paculan, farmers received guidance on proper seedbed preparation and sowing techniques to ensure the production of healthy seedlings ahead of the upcoming planting season.
The initiative forms part of the collaborative efforts of the LGU and NTA to strengthen farmers’ skills, improve tobacco production practices, and promote the cultivation of quality tobacco products.
