LG Electronics Philippines has officially opened the 2026 edition of its flagship corporate social responsibility program, the LG Ambassador Challenge, calling on changemakers, grassroots leaders, and civic organizations to submit proposals aimed at delivering sustainable medical aid and community healthcare solutions to underserved areas across the country.
Now on its fifth year locally, the initiative was launched in 2022 in partnership with Korea Friends of Hope International. The program provides funding and strategic support to individuals and organizations that design practical, community-driven projects addressing urgent social needs.
For 2026, LG is sharpening its focus on healthcare access — particularly initiatives that can strengthen frontline medical services in communities where facilities, equipment, and consistent care remain limited. The company said proposals must demonstrate long-term sustainability, strong community engagement, and measurable impact.
“Through the LG Ambassador Challenge, we are able to work closely with communities and partners to support initiatives that create real and sustainable change,” said Na-khyun Seong, Managing Director of LG Electronics Philippines. “By empowering individuals and organizations with resources and support, we hope to help build better lives and stronger communities, in line with LG’s commitment to innovation and social responsibility.”
Entries will be accepted from February 10 to 28, with project screening and selection taking place within the same period.

Track record of impact
Since its launch, the LG Ambassador Challenge has backed several high-impact, community-based projects nationwide.
In 2025, the program supported Programa para sa Alagang Ina at Sanggol in Barangay Tres Cruses, Tanza, Cavite — a maternal and child healthcare initiative that expanded and stabilized local health services. The upgraded facility now accommodates up to 10 patients daily, effectively doubling its previous half-day capacity.
In 2024, LG funded the Life’s Good Library On the Go project in Nagcarlan, Laguna — a mobile learning initiative that delivered books and educational materials to children in underserved communities, helping promote literacy and sustained learning engagement.
Earlier projects in 2023 included the installation of solar streetlights in Calauan, Laguna under Life is Good, When Life Has Light; the Flowing Water for Growing Future initiative to improve clean water access in Lawaguin, Laguna; and the Paliparan Community Livelihood project.
The inaugural 2022 winners set the tone for the program’s healthcare emphasis. Ride for Hope by Bahay Aruga in Manila provided an ambulance dedicated to pediatric cancer patients, while Roof for Siargao by Red Charity Gala supported post-disaster housing recovery.
Community-driven solutions
LG said the 2026 challenge aims to identify scalable healthcare interventions — whether mobile clinics, medical equipment upgrades, telehealth solutions, maternal health programs, or community-based preventive care systems — that can serve as replicable models nationwide.
Applicants must complete the official entry form, available via LG’s designated download link. Submissions and inquiries may be sent to mktg.ph@lge.com.
With the 2026 Ambassador Challenge now underway, LG is encouraging organizations and local advocates to transform healthcare gaps into actionable, community-led solutions — reinforcing the company’s global “Life’s Good” philosophy through tangible, grassroots impact.
