Beauty queen-turned-politician Leren Bautista has secured a second term as councilor in Los Baños, Laguna, after receiving 16,278 votes based on partial and unofficial results. She is one of the eight councilors elected in the municipality.
Expressing gratitude on Instagram, Bautista said, “Maraming salamat, LB… Para sa pangalawang termino, mas gagalingan pa natin.” Bautista first became councilor in 2022, following her stint in Miss Universe Philippines 2021, where she placed in the Top 10. Previously, she represented the Philippines at the 2019 Miss Globe pageant, finishing as second runner-up.
