LEGO has unveiled an impressive creation—life-size, drivable LEGO F1 cars. The toy company made a splash at the Miami Grand Prix, where Formula 1 drivers were the first to take these cars for a lap around the track. A joint Instagram video by F1 and LEGO showcased 10 life-size LEGO cars, each inspired by the 10 teams of the F1 race: McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull, Mercedes, Williams, Racing Bulls, Haas, Aston Martin, Alpine, and Kick Sauber.
The iconic cars weren’t the only spectacle at the Grand Prix, as several Hollywood stars, including Lisa and Rosé of BLACKPINK, Gordon Ramsay, and Timothée Chalamet, were seen in the paddock. While these LEGO F1 cars aren’t available to view in the Philippines, LEGO hosted racing-themed activities in April for Filipino fans to experience the excitement of motorsport.
