Laundry day comes with a welcome perk for Cagayan de Oro residents this weekend as the Del Fabric Softener Bangonanza Barangay Caravan brings free laundry services and Hanabishi product giveaways to two communities.
The caravan will stop at the Barangay Lapasan Covered Court on October 10 and Barangay Macabalan on October 11, kicking off its Visayas and Mindanao run. The first 70 residents to register will receive free laundry services using Hanabishi’s automatic washing machines, while product giveaways add to the community activities.
For Hanabishi, the partnership brings its household appliances closer to the families they are designed to serve.

“We would like to thank Del for inviting us to take part in this grassroots community initiative,” said Cherish Ong-Chua, Hanabishi vice president for finance and marketing.
“We have always been committed to creating products that make life more comfortable and convenient for Filipino families. Through the caravan, we are able to bring the Hanabishi experience to different communities across the country through practical support and giveaways that fit their everyday needs.”
After Cagayan de Oro, the caravan heads to Iloilo for its Visayas stops. Earlier this year, it completed its Luzon run with visits to Taguig, Pampanga and Lucena City.

The initiative also forms part of Hanabishi’s community outreach as it celebrates its 40th anniversary. Over the years, the appliance brand has worked with the GMA Kapuso Foundation and various cooperatives to bring assistance and relief to communities nationwide.
“As we turn another chapter for Hanabishi, we look forward to partnering with like-minded brands, such as Del, and organizations that help Filipino families,” Ong-Chua said.
