A bettor from Laguna has won the PHP46-million jackpot in Wednesday’s MegaLotto 6/45 draw. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Thursday that the winning ticket, purchased at Lucky Circle Corporation in Marilao, Bulacan, had the winning combination of 38-07-16-44-15-42.
The winner has one year to claim the prize of PHP46,134,409.20 at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City, subject to a 20-percent tax. To claim the prize money, the ticket holder must present the winning ticket along with two valid IDs.
In addition to the jackpot winner, a total of 14 bettors correctly guessed five of the six winning numbers and will each receive PHP32,000. Furthermore, 960 players matched four numbers and will get PHP1,000 each, while 18,922 players who hit three digits will receive PHP30.
The MegaLotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The PCSO encourages the public to support its gaming products to generate more revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
