South Korean actor Jung Woo Sung has confirmed that he is the father of the child born to model Moon Gabi.
The actor’s admission follows a Dispatch report on Sunday, November 24, which revealed the identity of the child born to Moon Gabi.
On November 22, Moon Gabi publicly shared the news of the birth of her son.
In an Instagram post, the model shared a black-and-white photo of herself holding her newborn, with his face resting against hers.
In her caption, she reflected on her pregnancy journey: “The news came so suddenly, and I wasn’t prepared at all. Rather than fully enjoying the joy of pregnancy and celebrations, I spent most of my pregnancy quietly surrounded by the blessings of my family. The decision to do so was made solely for the sake of the child to be born,” she wrote in Korean (translated via AI).
She continued, “I always thought that, in order to protect something precious, it had to be kept hidden. As an unprepared and inadequate soon-to-be mother, I needed time to prepare everything, but I now realize that was a choice born from fear.”
Moon Gabi admitted she was not fully prepared for motherhood, but vowed to raise her son with love, health, and care despite her uncertainties.
“Even though I still feel unprepared in so many ways as a mother, I made a vow to become a mother filled with love, not perfection. I hope to raise my child in a healthy and happy environment, filled with love,” she said.
“I wanted to show my child the bright, beautiful world I once saw, and for that, I realized I had to be brave,” she added.
