Julia Barretto hits back after Dennis Padilla’s explosive wedding rant

The Barretto-Padilla family drama has once again spilled into the public eye — this time with cryptic Instagram posts, bitter accusations, and the painful unraveling of familial ties.

Actress Julia Barretto took to Instagram with a pointed and emotionally charged quote shortly after her father, actor Dennis Padilla, launched another tirade online — this time over being “sidelined” at daughter Claudia Barretto’s wedding.

Julia’s post didn’t mention names, but the timing and message left little doubt.

“A narcissist doesn’t care about being a good parent — they just care about looking like one,” the story read.

“To a narcissist, the kids are just pawns in their war to break you… A narcissist’s favorite role? The victim. Because it distracts from the damage they caused.”

Her post came just hours after Dennis publicly expressed heartbreak over being treated like a “guest” and not a father at Claudia’s wedding to Basti Lorenzo.

In a now-deleted outburst, Dennis wrote, “NABUDOL NYO AKO! FATHER OF THE BRIDE NAGING VISITOR. GALING NYO!”

The emotional outcry ignited fresh waves of speculation and criticism online, with many netizens taking sides in the long-running rift between Dennis and his children with ex-partner Marjorie Barretto.

This latest chapter underscores the deep wounds that continue to plague one of showbiz’s most controversial families. Dennis has previously aired his grievances over strained relationships with Julia, Claudia, and Leon — publicly pleading for reconciliation, only to be met with cold silence or, in this case, a digital dagger.

The actor has now declared what appears to be the final nail in the coffin, saying he’s cutting ties with his children altogether.

While some sympathized with Dennis’ pain, others accused him of playing the victim card yet again. Julia’s thinly veiled response added fuel to the fire — not just as a defense, but as a statement of defiance.

As the Barretto-Padilla saga continues to unfold, it seems reconciliation is farther than ever. What once was private family pain is now center stage, playing out before an audience that’s all too eager to watch — and judge.
