Jollibee turns joy into marketing gold with 11 major awards

For Jollibee, serving up joy is no longer limited to the dining table. The homegrown fast-food giant is also finding new ways to connect with Filipinos through apps, creators, gaming, community events and digital experiences—and the strategy is earning industry recognition.

Jollibee recently collected 11 honors at the 2026 Marketing Excellence Awards, led by a Gold award for Marketing Team of the Year, while also adding a separate recognition from the YouTube Works Awards Philippines to its growing list of marketing achievements.

The wins reflect how the brand has expanded its presence far beyond traditional advertising, tapping multiple touchpoints where consumers now spend their time—from mobile phones and social media to online communities and real-world events.

“These awards belong to every member of our marketing team and our agency partners, whose passion and creativity bring the joy of Jollibee to life,” said Dorothy Ching, vice president for marketing of Jollibee Philippines.

“We are deeply honored by this recognition, especially being named Marketing Team of the Year. It inspires us to keep raising the bar and creating meaningful work that resonates with Filipinos and makes a real difference in their lives,” she added.

From food orders to digital lifestyles
One of the biggest contributors to Jollibee’s awards haul was the Jollibee App, which has become an increasingly important part of the brand’s relationship with customers.

The platform earned Gold for Excellence in Omnichannel Marketing, Silver awards for Excellence in e-Commerce Marketing and Excellence in Launch Marketing, and Bronze for Excellence in Performance Marketing.

The recognitions underscore how ordering a Chickenjoy meal, redeeming an offer or interacting with the brand increasingly happens across a connected mix of physical stores, mobile devices and digital platforms.

Jollibee also found success by turning marketing campaigns into shared experiences.

Its National Day of Joy received Gold for Excellence in Customer Engagement, while the Jollibee Joy Run won Gold for Excellence in Mobile Marketing, showing how the brand is using events and digital tools to build stronger participation beyond the usual restaurant visit.

Creators, gaming and snackable content
Jollibee’s growing focus on pop culture and online communities was also reflected in its other winning campaigns.

Jolly Takam Shots earned Silver for Excellence in Content Marketing, while JolliCreators took Silver for Excellence in Influencer/KOLs Marketing, highlighting the increasing role of creators in helping brands speak to younger and highly connected audiences.

Meanwhile, GameJoy Combos received Bronze for Excellence in Advertising, demonstrating how the fast-food chain is also exploring gaming culture as another avenue for reaching consumers.

Ching herself received Bronze for Marketing Leader of the Year, adding an individual honor to the marketing team’s overall recognition.

Taken together, the awards show how Jollibee is evolving its familiar brand of Filipino joy for a generation that moves effortlessly between restaurants, smartphones, social platforms, gaming spaces and live experiences.

The Marketing Excellence Awards, organized annually by Marketing-Interactive, recognizes marketing campaigns, teams and industry leaders for creativity, innovation and measurable business impact.

For Jollibee, the latest haul sends a clear message: in a fast-changing consumer landscape, the recipe for staying relevant involves more than good food. It also requires finding new and memorable ways to be part of everyday Filipino life.
