Jollibee Foods Corporation has added another achievement to its growing list of milestones after earning recognition at the 2025 Golden Arrow Awards, a testament to the company’s strong and evolving corporate governance practices. The Jollibee Group entered a new tier this year, receiving its first-ever award in the higher category (90–99) after posting a score of 90.03 in the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard assessment conducted by the Institute of Corporate Directors.
The two Golden Arrows awarded to JFC reflect more than just a number. For many investors, employees, and loyal customers, it is a sign that one of the country’s most beloved homegrown brands is taking transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership to heart—principles that matter even more as the company expands its global footprint.
“We strive each year to improve how we uphold strong corporate governance, and these recognitions encourage us that our efforts are progressing well,” said Ernesto Tanmantiong, Jollibee Group Global President and CEO. “As we grow and expand globally, we remain mindful that good governance is essential to creating long-term value for our stakeholders, communities, and customers. It is a foundation that enables us to stay true to our purpose of spreading joy through superior taste.”
The Golden Arrow Awards honor publicly listed companies that demonstrate exemplary governance practices based on the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard, a regional benchmark that guides regulators and industry leaders across ASEAN. Companies scoring 80 and above earn the Golden Arrow distinction, signaling alignment with both the Revised Code of Corporate Governance and international standards.
The ACGS evaluates companies across several core principles, including the protection of shareholder rights, equitable treatment of stakeholders, transparent disclosure of information, and effective oversight by the board. By recognizing companies that uphold these principles, the scorecard aims to raise governance standards in the Philippines and help attract long-term, value-driven investment.
For Jollibee Foods Corporation, this year’s two Golden Arrows highlight its ongoing progress in embedding integrity and stewardship across its operations. It also strengthens its position as one of the region’s top publicly listed companies—proof that behind every Chickenjoy meal served is a company working to do things the right way, for the right reasons, and for the people it serves.
