The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and easterlies will continue to influence weather conditions in the Philippines, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday.
In its 5 a.m. bulletin, PAGASA reported that Mindanao and the eastern section of Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ. Meanwhile, Metro Manila and other regions are expected to have fair weather, although some areas may see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms from the easterlies.
PAGASA weather specialist John Manalo indicated that no low pressure areas or typhoons are expected to impact the country in the next two to three days. However, the agency warned of potential flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains, particularly in areas affected by the ITCZ.
The entire archipelago will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters, with temperatures ranging from 25.7 °C to 34.2 °C.
