The Philippine IT-BPM sector grew faster than the global average in 2025 and is on track to generate $42 billion in exports next year, the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) said.
The group reported that the industry ended 2025 with about $40 billion in export revenues and a workforce of 1.9 million.
This reflected a 5-percent increase in revenues and 4-percent growth in employment, outpacing the global industry average of 3 percent.
IBPAP president and CEO Jack Madrid credited the growth to strong local companies, skilled Filipino digital workers, and a supportive ecosystem.
Employment is expected to reach nearly 2 million jobs by 2026 as the sector continues to expand.
The group highlighted the growth of global capacity centers and supportive policies, including the CREATE More law and clarified work-from-home rules, as key drivers for investor confidence.
IBPAP said sustaining growth will require upskilling the workforce, expanding regional hubs, and responsibly integrating artificial intelligence in operations.
