Filipino insurer Insular Life (InLife) continues to make waves in sustainability after bagging two distinctions at the ESGBusiness Awards 2025 held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

InLife, the country’s first and largest Filipino life insurance company, was recognized under the Job Creation and Economic Resilience Award category. Its Reward and Recognition Program—which nurtures employee performance, professional development, and holistic wellness—won in the Philippines – Reward and Recognition subcategory. Meanwhile, the InLife Foundation’s Gold Eagle College Scholarship and Skills Training Programs received the Philippines – Economic Empowerment award for its impact in providing educational opportunities and livelihood skills to underserved communities.

Chief Sustainability Officer Noel Andres M. Perdigon said the double victory reaffirms InLife’s purpose-driven mission. “Our employee and community programs reflect our promise of leading Filipinos to A Lifetime for Good. As we mark our 115th year, these awards remind us to keep advancing meaningful change—for our people, our communities, and our shared future,” he said.

The ESGBusiness Awards honors companies across Asia that demonstrate excellence in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices and contribute to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

Adding to its sustainability streak, InLife’s Talent Management and Development Program also won Gold at the inaugural Inquirer ESG Edge Impact Awards 2025 earlier this month. The recognition celebrates InLife’s commitment to fostering a workplace culture that values career growth, lifelong learning, and employee well-being.
