The ICCP Group is deepening its commitment to long-term community empowerment by investing in financial education and protection programs through its corporate social responsibility arm, the ICCP Group Foundation, Inc. (IGFI).

At the heart of these initiatives is IGFI’s expanded financial literacy campaign, developed with the support of BDO Foundation, Inc. Recently, the program reached Barangay Babag in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, where over 240 residents participated in the Basics of Personal Finance workshop at Babag National High School. This follows earlier sessions in Lipa City, Batangas City, and Malvar, Batangas.

“Our goal is to equip individuals with practical financial tools that foster greater self-reliance,” said IGFI President Richard Osmond. “Education lays the groundwork for sustainable community growth, and that is something we prioritize across ICCP Group operations.”

To complement financial education, IGFI also rolled out a microinsurance program in partnership with a leading financial services provider. This initiative provides accessible coverage to residents of ICCP host communities, offering support in times of hardship such as accidental death, fire-related damage, and other emergencies. The program is implemented in close coordination with barangay leaders and partner organizations.

So far, more than 430 beneficiaries in Batangas, Laguna, Cebu, and Cagayan de Oro have received coverage, with the number expected to reach 600 in the coming months.

Beyond financial programs, ICCP Group companies continue to champion grassroots initiatives that promote livelihood support, environmental education, and resource-conscious practices. These efforts reinforce the Group’s role as a reliable development partner in the communities it serves.

The ICCP Group has established a strong presence in key growth areas through companies such as Science Park of the Philippines, Inc. (SPPI)—a leading developer of industrial estates in Laguna, Batangas, Cebu, and Bataan—and Pueblo de Oro Development Corporation (PDO), which delivers residential and commercial projects in Batangas, Cebu, Pampanga, and Cagayan de Oro.

From industrial parks to residential townships, the ICCP Group remains dedicated to building not just infrastructure, but also stronger, financially prepared, and more resilient communities.
