HP Philippines is setting a bold course for the future with a renewed focus on innovation designed to empower Filipino professionals, businesses, and consumers. During its annual HP Day showcase, the company laid out a comprehensive roadmap under its “One HP” strategy, integrating personal systems, print, services, and solutions into a unified ecosystem aimed at transforming how people work and live.
This year’s event emphasized how artificial intelligence is no longer just a buzzword—it’s becoming an essential tool for everyday productivity. By embedding smarter, more accessible AI into its technology, HP aims to create seamless experiences for a workforce that is not only tech-savvy but eager to adapt to more intuitive tools.
According to a recent PwC study, 88 percent of business leaders in the Philippines expect AI to be fully integrated into business operations within the next three years. This growing confidence is driving demand for tools that offer speed, security, and flexibility—qualities HP is focusing on through its suite of AI-powered innovations.
“Technology should adapt to people, not the other way around,” said Ida Evina Ong-Co, Managing Director of HP Philippines. “Through the One HP strategy, we’re merging our entire portfolio—from smart PCs to accessories like Poly and HyperX—into one connected system built for today’s hybrid lifestyles.”
Driving the future of work with purposeful innovation
HP Day 2025 served as a launchpad for new solutions built to meet the needs of modern professionals and businesses. At the heart of it all is AI—built not to replace the user, but to elevate how people engage with their tools.
From powerful laptops built for multitasking to smart platforms designed for classrooms and boardrooms alike, each product on display highlighted HP’s commitment to ease of use, adaptability, and meaningful innovation. The One HP ecosystem ensures that every device, service, and application works in harmony to simplify workflows and create a more engaging user experience.
“Engaged employees are more productive and have stronger relationships with their work,” shared Koh Kong Meng, Managing Director for Southeast Asia at HP Inc. “That’s what we’re aiming for: creating technology that fosters well-being and deepens human connection at work.”
AI tools designed for real-world use
HP Day also gave a glimpse into the next generation of AI-powered tools specifically designed with the Filipino user in mind. One standout was Scan AI, a solution that uses generative AI to automatically scan, summarize, and prepare documents. It even handles file renaming and email drafting—saving time while keeping sensitive data protected through automatic redaction features that don’t require cloud access.
Also featured was the HP AI Companion, a smart assistant integrated into HP’s next-gen AI PCs. This tool offers two distinct modes: On-Device Mode for fully offline functionality that keeps everything secure on the user’s PC, and Cloud Mode for more powerful real-time capabilities. From summarizing documents to answering complex queries and adjusting settings, the AI Companion offers practical, privacy-focused support for professionals working across hybrid or digital-first environments.
Putting people first in a digital age
HP’s ongoing efforts in the Philippines highlight a commitment to creating technology that feels personal and purposeful. The innovations showcased during HP Day 2025 reflect a deeper understanding of the Filipino user’s needs—balancing cutting-edge performance with tools that simplify everyday challenges.
By reimagining how people interact with technology, HP is not just offering new products—it’s redefining what productivity, creativity, and connection can look like in a fast-changing world.
