Recently, Globe Platinum brought together some of Cebu’s influential women leaders, business personalities, and valued clients for Prime and Platinum, an intimate dinner-for-a-cause that transformed a sophisticated evening of fine dining into a powerful platform for social change.

Held in partnership with the Ayala Foundation and La Carne Cebu, the event showcased a growing trend among discerning consumers: choosing experiences that not only inspire connection but also contribute to causes that matter.

At the heart of the gathering was a shared mission—to help address child hunger, malnutrition, and stunting among Filipino children through support for the Hapag Movement, Globe’s flagship hunger alleviation initiative.

Every seat at the table became a direct contribution toward school feeding programs in Cebu, helping provide nutritious meals to children in underserved communities.

For Tony Lambino, President of Ayala Foundation, collaborations like these play a crucial role in sustaining long-term solutions to food insecurity.

“Partnerships like these enable us to sustain programs that directly benefit our Hapag Movement communities, such as in BARMM, where child stunting is at its highest. It is a shared effort to create meaningful and lasting change,” Lambino said.

The event also highlighted how the food industry can contribute to advocacy. For Jovy Tuaño, owner of La Carne Cebu, food is not only about nourishment but also about education, sustainability, and community building.

“At La Carne Cebu, we love to educate our patrons about our meat sources and differentiation. Experiences like these can elevate dining from nutrition awareness and food sustainability to advocacy. This partnership allows us to support communities while doing what we do best,” Tuaño shared.

The initiative comes as the Hapag Movement continues to expand its impact across the country. In 2025 alone, the program supported more than 150,000 Filipino families, surpassing its original target through over P54.9 million in donations.

More than an elegant evening, Prime and Platinum reflected a growing shift in how premium brands engage their communities—creating experiences that are not only memorable but meaningful.
