MANDALUYONG CITY, Philippines – HONOR not only represents its brand name but also its service to its users. Much like the heroes of the Avengers, HONOR is bringing its own addition to the Philippines with the upcoming HONOR 600S
HONOR Philippines gave HONOR fans, media guests, influencers, and community members a preview of the new smartphone during an event held at SM Megamall Cinemas on September 23. The HONOR 600S is set to launch in the Philippines on October 1.
The preview event gave attendees a look at the phone’s AI features, including HONOR AI Image-to-Video 2.0. As part of the event activity, participants took photos of Avengers characters and used the phone to turn the images into AI-generated videos.
The feature comes built into the device, so users do not need to download a separate application to use it. The activity also served as a way for HONOR to show how the phone can be used for creative content.
The Avengers theme was chosen to match the first day of the encore screening of the Marvel films. HONOR said its media activities use different themes on different days to demonstrate the phone’s AI Image-to-Video feature.
The HONOR 600S will join the HONOR 600 Series, which includes the HONOR 600 and HONOR 600 Pro, launched in the Philippines back in May. According to HONOR, the new model will serve as a more accessible option in the series while retaining key features.
The company has not yet announced the price of the HONOR 600S. HONOR said it expects the new model to be priced lower than the other HONOR 600 Series phones.
The device targets students, young professionals, creators, and other users who want a phone for both everyday use and content creation. It also comes with 5G connectivity and an 8,100mAh battery, which HONOR says is designed to support long periods of streaming, browsing, creating content, and other daily tasks.
The HONOR 600S will be officially unveiled in the Philippines on October 1. HONOR said it will announce the phone’s price, availability, and launch offers during the official launch.
