Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF), the philanthropic branch of global health and wellness leader Herbalife, is deepening its commitment to underserved communities.
As part of the Casa Herbalife Program—a worldwide initiative that partners with local organizations to deliver nutritious meals, educational support, and safe spaces for children—HFF has granted roughly P8.7 million ($150,000) to two prominent Filipino nonprofits: SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas and Tuloy Foundation.
“All good nutrition lays the groundwork for a healthier future,” said Allan Domingo, general manager of Herbalife Philippines. “We are honored to support SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas and Tuloy Foundation as they provide nourishing meals and secure, nurturing environments where children can learn and flourish. Our commitment to empowering communities through nutrition and education remains as strong as ever.”

At SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas, the donation benefits 217 children by ensuring they receive balanced nutrition and essential life skills training. In addition to food aid, the funding supports mental health programs designed to help children and youth develop effective coping strategies and resilience.
The initiative also reinforced advocacy efforts during the Children’s Month Celebration, themed “Break the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines,” emphasizing the importance of child protection and overall development.
Moreover, caregiver training programs have been introduced to equip staff with the skills to promote healthier lifestyles through exercise and wellness activities.
“This generous grant from the Herbalife Foundation has been pivotal in ensuring our children get the nourishment they need to grow, learn, and thrive,” remarked Romil I. Rayos Del Sol, deputy national director of SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas. “It goes beyond food security by strengthening our advocacy for children’s rights and empowering our caregivers with essential skills.”
Meanwhile, the Tuloy Foundation is using the grant to provide food subsidies that ensure 200 children receive daily nutritious meals. The funds are also supporting an innovative aquaponics garden initiative, where children learn firsthand how to cultivate vegetables—an effort that fosters self-reliance and sustainability.
“At Tuloy Foundation, we believe our mission goes beyond feeding children; we strive to equip them with the knowledge and skills to sustain themselves in the future,” explained Fr. Marciano “Rocky” Evangelista, President and Founder of Tuloy Foundation. “Thanks to HFF’s support, our aquaponics program is not only delivering healthy meals but also imparting valuable lessons in responsibility and self-sufficiency.”
The children from Tuloy Foundation recently had the chance to experience the Herbalife Spectacular, the company’s annual kickoff event, where they connected with Herbalife employees and members in a vibrant celebration of community spirit.
A unified vision for a healthier tomorrow
These grants underscore HFF’s unwavering dedication to building healthier, more inclusive communities by addressing nutritional needs and children’s holistic development.
“The impact of these grants goes beyond basic nutrition—it helps create a future where every child can thrive in a safe, supportive environment. We are proud to contribute to this journey toward a healthier Philippines,” Domingo added.
On a global scale, HFF has awarded $5 million in grants to 164 nonprofit organizations across 59 countries and territories for the 2024–2025 term.
