Fresh from their stint inside the famous house of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0, actor Heath Jornales is making it clear that admiration—not romance—is what he feels for the season’s Big Winner, Caprice Cayetano.
During a guest appearance on the talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Jornales shared how proud he is of Cayetano’s journey after the reality competition crowned her as the season’s champion.
Host Boy Abunda asked the young actor directly if he had ever developed feelings for Cayetano during their time inside the Bahay ni Kuya. Jornales, however, chose his words carefully, emphasizing respect and admiration rather than romance.
“I admire Caprice so much, and I’m really proud of her,” he said. “She’s come such a long way and she’s done an amazing job.”
Abunda, known for pressing his guests with direct questions, jokingly pointed out that the actor still had not fully answered whether he ever liked Cayetano romantically. Jornales later clarified during the show’s rapid-fire segment that he did not have a secret crush on anyone inside the house.
While the actor dismissed the idea of a hidden romance, he acknowledged the strong fan support for the pairing that viewers affectionately dubbed “CapEath.”
Jornales admitted he was pleasantly surprised when he first discovered how many fans were rooting for them as a tandem.
“I was really happy when I saw people shipping us,” he said. “It made me glad to know that everything we did inside the house made viewers happy and that they appreciated it.”
The support has extended beyond fans online. Jornales shared that even his parents are aware of the pairing and have expressed their own support for the friendship between him and Cayetano.
“They support it too. I can see their support,” the Sparkle actor said.
Adding another twist to the story, Jornales revealed that he was also surprised to learn that he and Cayetano may be working together again on a future project. Although details remain unclear, the possibility already has fans buzzing.
“I was really surprised when I heard we might have a project together,” he said. “I haven’t talked to management about it yet, so I don’t know the full details, but I’m excited to see where it goes.”
