Italian high fashion sneaker brand Golden Goose is opening its first store in the Philippines.
Filipino sneakerheads will no longer need to travel abroad to purchase a pair of these sought-after shoes.
News of the store opening in the Philippines was shared in a TikTok video by fashion and fitness influencer Jeff Ong, where the brand’s board-up was seen at Greenbelt Mall in Makati City.
The board-up is located in the central area of the mall, which is famously known for hosting pop-up stores.
Details about the store’s opening and the products it will carry have yet to be revealed.
Golden Goose sneakers, priced from $675 (around P39,298), are known for their distinct distressed, vintage-inspired look, with the brand’s signature star prominently featured on the sides.
Although Golden Goose sneakers are available through re-seller shops, a pop-up store will still be greatly appreciated by local sneakerheads, as it allows them to explore available styles and sizes in person.
