Globe teams up with Amazon Web Services to power next-generation digital transformation

Globe, one of the Philippines’ leading digital platforms, has signed a multi-year strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN), to accelerate its digital transformation and redefine customer experiences through cloud innovation and artificial intelligence.

The collaboration is designed to strengthen Globe’s technology backbone, enhance customer engagement, and solidify its position as a leading force in the country’s digital economy. Leveraging AWS’s world-class cloud infrastructure and AI capabilities, Globe aims to deliver faster, smarter, and more personalized services to millions of Filipinos across its telecommunications and digital ecosystems.

Under the multi-year agreement, Globe and AWS will focus on several key initiatives:

Cloud Infrastructure Modernization: Globe is scaling its cloud infrastructure investments to enhance resiliency, disaster recovery, and platform engineering capabilities that will bolster both commercial operations and network stability.

Customer Experience Reinvention: Through AWS technology, Globe is modernizing its B2B systems and digital platforms, improving user interfaces for GOMO, and implementing advanced consent and preference management tools for hyper-personalized experiences.

Network Innovation: The partnership includes deploying AWS solutions for smarter network management, improved SIM activation, and seamless number porting systems, ensuring smoother customer journeys.

Real-time Operations: By integrating AWS data streaming and campaign management tools, Globe will gain the agility to deliver timely, data-driven offers that respond to customer needs in real time.

AI-Led Customer Experience Transformation: Globe is pioneering AI-driven solutions for customer lifecycle management and intelligent automation, including an AWS-based voicebot designed to elevate customer support and engagement.

Building on Globe’s earlier cloud modernization efforts, this alliance underscores its mission to harness data, automation, and AI for greater efficiency, innovation, and inclusion.
