As part of the 917 GDay 2025 festivities, Globe Business turned the spotlight on Filipino entrepreneurs whose ventures prove that passion and purpose can move industries forward. The inaugural G Fair Awards celebrated small and medium enterprises that stand out not only for what they sell but for what they stand for—innovation, sustainability, and community impact.

“Through G Fair, we see how small businesses bring innovation, heart, and resilience to every challenge,” said Yoly Crisanto, Globe Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer. “These winners remind us that success is not just about growth, but about the impact you create for people and the planet.”

KD Dizon, Head of Globe Business, echoed this message: “These entrepreneurs embody courage and creativity. Their journey inspires others to scale their businesses while creating meaningful change in their communities.”

For two days, G Fair became more than a marketplace—it transformed into a movement that showcased the country’s most inspiring local brands, each with a story of grit, creativity, and heart.

The Breakthrough Award went to H Proper Coffee Roasters, a specialty coffee roastery that grew from one man’s pursuit of the perfect cup into a thriving brand known for its craft and quality. Every roast tells a story of passion, precision, and persistence—proof that when entrepreneurs pour themselves fully into their purpose, they can stand out in a crowded field.

The People’s Choice Award went to The Good Poison, a homegrown iced tea brand that captured hearts with its honest flavors and authentic story. In less than a year, it has become a symbol of mindful indulgence—crafted with real brewed tea, fresh fruit, and a commitment to quality that customers instantly connect with.

The Sustainability Champion Award was given to Lumi Candles PH, a brand that turned a small hobby into a mission-driven enterprise. Known for its soy candles and refillable home essentials, Lumi champions conscious consumption and waste reduction, showing that sustainability and style can coexist beautifully. Through its initiatives and advocacy, the brand continues to light the way for responsible local business.

By honoring these entrepreneurs, Globe reinforces its belief that SMEs are catalysts of inclusive and sustainable growth. G Fair stands as both a celebration and a call to action—for entrepreneurs to keep innovating, for customers to keep supporting local, and for communities to keep thriving together.

As Globe Business looks to the future, its message is clear: the next wave of Filipino SMEs is ready to lead with purpose, and Globe will be there to empower them through digital transformation and shared progress.
