Tiny Buds, the proudly Filipino and female-led baby care brand, has just been crowned TikTok Shop’s #1 baby skin care brand — and it didn’t get there by simply selling products. Instead, it built an online village where parents feel understood, supported, and inspired.

Founded in 2009 from one mother’s search for safe, gentle, and natural products for her child, Tiny Buds quickly became more than just a household name. For countless Filipino families, it’s now a parenting ally — one that listens, engages, and grows alongside its community.

That connection only deepened when Tiny Buds joined TikTok Shop. Instead of flooding feeds with sales pitches, it filled timelines with relatable stories, fun livestreams, and creator-led content. Here, moms didn’t just shop — they laughed, learned, and asked questions in real time.

“We started early, so we had a stable following on TikTok Shop,” shared Lorin Tan, Marketing Head of Tiny Buds. “One of our videos went viral in 2020, and it showed us that when you lead with honesty and connection, reach and relevance naturally follow.”

Tiny Buds connects directly with parents through TikTok Shop Live, with engaging creator content and appearances from familiar faces like Maja Salvador.

From viral moments to record-breaking growth
The results speak for themselves. In the first quarter of 2024 alone, Tiny Buds saw a 29% year-on-year sales increase, a 61% boost in content output, and a 15% rise in livestream engagement. Parents weren’t just buying — they were showing up to talk, learn, and connect.

“Live selling gave us something no other channel could — one-on-one conversations with new parents,” said Lys Tan, E-commerce Channel Head. “Answering their questions in real time while demonstrating our products created a special kind of trust.”

Even its ads benefitted from this community-first approach, with revenue from advertising skyrocketing by 279%.

Purpose with every purchase
One of the brand’s biggest milestones was its 2024 Super Brand Day on TikTok Shop. The event shattered records — not only in sales, but in impact. A portion of proceeds went to an orphanage running a beekeeping center, blending Tiny Buds’ love for nature with its mission to nurture families of all kinds.

Guided by TikTok Shop’s ACE Indicator System, which helps sellers fine-tune their Assortment, Content, and Empowerment strategies, Tiny Buds has reached millions of moms looking for gentle care and genuine connection.
