Filinvest Group’s 70-year legacy earns global recognition with wave of 2025 awards

From the boardroom to the communities it serves, the Filinvest Group marked another milestone year as its businesses collectively earned more than a hundred local and international awards in 2025—an affirmation of a 70-year legacy rooted in enabling dreams and creating lasting value.

With a diversified portfolio spanning real estate, banking, power and utilities, hospitality, sugar milling, and infrastructure, the Group’s recognitions reflect not just scale, but consistency in governance, sustainability, and service excellence.

Across industries, Filinvest’s companies were cited for ethical leadership, people development, innovation, and meaningful impact on Filipino lives.

A strong emphasis on leadership and culture figured prominently among the Group’s accolades. Filinvest Development Corporation received multiple honors from the HR Excellence Awards and HR Asia Awards, capped by Stevie Awards for Great Employers—recognition of sustained investment in building inclusive, values-driven workplaces.

All four of Filinvest’s publicly listed companies—Filinvest Development Corporation, EastWest Bank, Filinvest REIT Corp., and Filinvest Land, Inc.—were also recognized with Golden Arrow Awards from the Institute of Corporate Directors, underscoring the Group’s continued focus on transparency, accountability, and sound corporate governance.

In the power sector, Filinvest Development Corporation Misamis Power Corporation drew commendations from the PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority, local schools, and civic institutions for its strong partnerships with host communities and industry stakeholders, highlighting Filinvest’s approach to shared growth beyond core operations.

The Group’s momentum was equally evident in banking and real estate. EastWest Bank earned accolades for its digital and consumer banking initiatives, including Best Digital Ecosystem and Platform from The Asian Banker Philippine Awards, reflecting its push for accessible, technology-driven customer experiences.

In property development, Filinvest Land, Inc. was named Developer of the Year at the FIABCI Philippines Property and Real Estate Excellence Awards, reinforcing its leadership and consistency in the sector. It also took home Best Developer Visayas and Best Developer Mindanao honors from Dot Property Philippines, signaling strong regional performance.

Filinvest Alabang, Inc. added to the Group’s real estate wins, securing Best Residential Renovation at the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2025 for Fortune Hill. Its Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel achieved rare distinction at the Urban Land Institute Asia Pacific Awards for Excellence as the sole Philippine winner, while also earning Gold Awards from FIABCI Philippines for both the chapel and the Filinvest City master plan—recognition of people-centered, thoughtful design.

On the global hospitality stage, Filinvest’s portfolio continued to shine. Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan garnered honors from the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence 2025 and earned inclusion in the Michelin Guide – Hotels.

Within the resort, Enye by Chef Chele Gonzales was named a Michelin-Selected Restaurant, further cementing Filinvest’s reputation for world-class hospitality and dining.]
