Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, emerged as one of the biggest winners at the HR Excellence Awards 2025, securing Gold in both Cross-Generational Workforce Management and Leadership Development, and Silver in Best HR Team (Multinational Companies). These recognitions underscore FedEx’s unwavering commitment to cultivating a resilient, inclusive, and future-ready workforce.
The HR Excellence Awards celebrates outstanding, innovative HR practices across industries. Competing against 71 top organizations, FedEx also earned finalist nods in seven other categories—solidifying its reputation for championing its people as the driving force behind sustainable growth.
The Gold Award for Cross-Generational Workforce Management honored FedEx’s success in bridging age gaps through mentorship programs, internal mobility opportunities, and leadership training. These efforts have fostered collaboration, mutual respect, and innovation across generations within the company.
Its people-first approach is further reflected in key milestones: FedEx has exceeded the government’s 0.5% benchmark for employees with disabilities, achieved 53% female representation in management roles, and posted a 17% year-on-year increase in inclusion scores. Initiatives like the Disability Inclusion Playbook and Sensitivity Training have helped create a culture where all employees feel valued, empowered, and included.
FedEx also earned the Gold Award for Leadership Development for its robust efforts to nurture leaders at every level. Through programs such as Advance into Management, immersive cross-functional learning, and a strong mentoring culture, employees gain the agility, skills, and confidence to drive operational excellence and deliver exceptional customer experiences. These initiatives have resulted in an impressive 95% employee engagement score and 91% inclusion score.
“This recognition reaffirms that our people are our greatest asset and the driving force behind our long-term success,” said Maribeth Espinosa, Managing Director of FedEx Philippines. “It inspires us to continue pushing boundaries in people development and organizational culture. By investing in leadership, inclusion, and workforce agility, we’re not only building a stronger FedEx today—we’re ensuring our team is equipped with the future-ready skills needed to shape what’s next for our business and customers.”
