Behind every branch milestone and positive customer experience are employees whose dedication keeps financial services within reach of communities. Cebuana Lhuillier is giving those contributions a bigger stage through its inaugural ORO Regional Awards 2026.
Covering all nine of the company’s regions, the new recognition platform celebrates Ka-Cebuanas whose service, leadership, and performance help advance its mission of financial inclusion.
Named after the Spanish word for gold, ORO recognizes excellence earned through years of hard work, perseverance, and meaningful contributions. By bringing the awards to the regional level, Cebuana Lhuillier puts the spotlight closer to where those achievements happen.
“ORO marks an important step in our longstanding recognition tradition, bringing recognition closer to our nine regions and honoring the Ka-Cebuanas whose dedication and hard work contribute to our success every day,” said Jean Henri Lhuillier, Cebuana Lhuillier president and CEO.
The program’s pilot run recognizes achievements across several categories, including 10- and 15-year service milestones, individual accomplishments, branch and area distinctions, customer experience, community impact, and overall regional performance.
Among its highlights is the Regional Manager Cup, which recognizes leadership that develops people alongside business performance. The award underscores the regional manager’s role as a mentor who identifies potential, nurtures talent, and helps teams achieve their best.
For Jose Miguel Jimenez, senior vice president and Branch Sales Group head, regional recognition connects employee appreciation with the places where the company makes its most direct impact.
“ORO brings recognition closer to where our mission comes to life every day—in our branches and the communities we serve. It is here that our people make a direct impact, making it important to celebrate their contributions where they happen,” Jimenez said.
The regional awards will also open a route to national recognition. Beginning in 2027, ORO will serve as the pathway to the Brillo Awards, Cebuana Lhuillier’s national recognition platform established in 2009, giving outstanding regional performers the opportunity to advance to a wider stage.
Through ORO, the company celebrates both standout achievements and the sustained effort behind them—from employees reaching service milestones to leaders helping colleagues grow. It places the people delivering financial inclusion every day at the center of the company’s gold standard of excellence.
