Eton Properties took a bold step toward redefining integrated living as it broke ground on the University of the East’s first-ever campus in Southern Luzon, located within the 600-hectare Eton City in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Since its inception, Eton City has stood as a vision of balance — a place where people don’t just reside, but thrive. The addition of the UE Eton Laguna Campus transforms that vision into a more complete reality: a township where education, community, and progress grow side by side.
“We’re breaking ground not only on a university campus but on an idea — that education should be at the heart of every well-planned community,” said Kyle C. Tan, Eton Properties President and CEO, during the ceremony.

The UE Eton City Campus is envisioned to be a state-of-the-art learning environment rooted in the values of innovation, accessibility, and sustainability. It aims to give students in the South access to world-class education close to home, while strengthening Eton City’s role as a self-sustaining hub for families, businesses, and future generations.

For Eton Properties, the partnership with UE is the fulfillment of a long-standing promise — one that dates back to the earliest blueprints of Eton City. “From the start, Eton believed that a great community is not built on structures alone,” Tan shared. “It grows stronger when it includes access to quality education.”

More than a groundbreaking, the event symbolized a shared commitment: to build communities where people can live well, learn deeply, and dream boldly.
