Epson has officially opened the call for entries for the 16th edition of the prestigious Epson International Pano Awards. Following a record-breaking 2024, Epson Southeast Asia is once again teaming up with Epson Australia to support what has become one of the world’s premier competitions dedicated to panoramic photography. Last year’s event drew an impressive 4,529 submissions from 1,105 photographers across 95 countries.
“It’s my pleasure to announce that entries are now open for the 16th Epson International Pano Awards,” said David Evans, Curator of the competition. “Thanks to the generous backing from our sponsors, we’re able to reduce entry fees this year, making it more accessible than ever. The 2025 prize pool remains outstanding—worth over USD $50,000—including $15,000 in cash and an Open category winner’s package valued at more than $11,000.”
Jocelyn Tan, Regional Deputy Director of Commercial Products for Epson Southeast Asia, added, “We’re thrilled to support this year’s awards alongside Epson Australia. It’s an opportunity to celebrate extraordinary talent from Southeast Asia and around the world. At Epson, we are passionate about helping photographers bring their boldest visions to life through innovative print technology.”
Fikri Muharom (Indonesia) won the inaugural Pano Awards 2024 Southeast Asia Open Photographer of the Year award with this photo of Mt. Bromo, titled The Volcanoes Theatre.
The 2025 judging panel features a lineup of some of the world’s top photographic talents, including:
- Merche Llobera – 2023 Amateur Photographer of the Year
- Kelvin Yuen – 2024 Open Photographer of the Year
- Matt Jackisch – 2020 Open Photographer of the Year
