Actress Ellen Adarna has once again set the gossip mill on fire after dropping a mysterious, eyebrow-raising post aimed at someone she didn’t name—but everyone knows exactly who the internet thinks she’s talking about.

Fresh from her very public split with estranged husband Derek Ramsay, Ellen slid a new term into the 2025 sass vocabulary. On Instagram Stories, she wrote: “If there’s GGSS—gandang-ganda/gwapong-gwapo sa sarili—there’s also YYSS: yaman-yaman sa sarili,” complete with laughing emojis, as if she knew she just launched the year’s juiciest shade grenade.

The post instantly exploded across social media, with netizens treating “YYSS” like the newest national catchphrase. Even meme pages jumped in—Follow The Trend Movement made a spoof comparing the term to billionaires, prompting Ellen to repost it with the caption, “Elon Musk yarn?”

But the drama didn’t stop there. Another round of fake news resurfaced involving Ellen and Derek, claiming the ex-couple were locked in a “massive legal war” over an alleged P500-million conjugal property and that Derek was supposedly angling for full custody of their daughter Lily. Derek didn’t waste time shutting it down, firing back with a blunt “FAKE NEWS!”

Their breakup was confirmed in November after Ellen dropped what she called “receipts” revealing Derek’s alleged infidelity—complete with voice recordings of their heated arguments where he could be heard shouting and swearing. Days before this latest cryptic post, Ellen had already packed up, moved out, and settled into her new home—closing the door on the relationship but clearly not on the drama.

And with YYSS now officially part of the vocabulary, the internet is waiting for one thing: who else Ellen might be talking about next.
