Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the country’s leading motorcycle manufacturer, treated media representatives and moto vloggers to the PCXceptional Ride on August 29, 2025. The exclusive event offered a first-hand journey into the premium comfort, performance, and smart features of The All-New PCX160.
A ride built for every road
The event kicked off at the Honda Safety Driving Center in Parañaque City and took participants to the scenic roads of Tanay, Rizal—a route that perfectly combined urban, uphill, and countryside conditions. Riders tested both the Standard and RoadSync variants of Honda’s new premium scooter, experiencing how The All-New PCX160 thrives in diverse riding environments.
On the winding roads, the scooter’s 157cc, 4-stroke, 4-valve, SOHC, liquid-cooled ESP+ engine shone. Delivering 11.8 kW at 8,500 rpm and 14.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm, its smooth acceleration impressed participants. Its 46 km/L fuel efficiency and spacious foot area added comfort and practicality for longer journeys.

Safety and control in every variant
Confidence was key throughout the ride. The RoadSync type stood out with advanced safety features: an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) for stable stops, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) for improved traction, and twin shock rear suspension with subtanks for better damping. The Standard type, meanwhile, offered reliable braking with its Combi Brake System and dual disc brakes—ensuring all riders felt secure and in control.
Style that turns heads
The scooter’s fresh styling drew admiration from motorists along the way. With its sleek All-LED lights and refined color options—Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Pearl Fadeless White for the RoadSync type; Vortex Red Metallic, Pearl Fadeless White, and Matte Bullet Silver for the Standard type—The All-New PCX160 effortlessly combined elegance with road presence.
Smarter, more practical riding
Practical innovations elevated the riding experience. The Honda Smart Key System with anti-theft immobilizer simplified operation, while the USB Type-C charger kept devices powered. A 30-liter luggage box ensured convenient, weather-resistant storage.
Riders of the RoadSync type particularly appreciated Honda RoadSync technology. With smartphone pairing, they accessed navigation, calls, messages, and music—all hands-free via the multi-function switch and voice human-machine interface. A crisp 5-inch TFT meter enhanced visibility, while features like the passing light switch added safety in overtaking situations.
A celebration of ride and innovation
The journey concluded at Café Cecilia in Tanay, where participants reflected on their experience over refreshments. The event reinforced Honda’s commitment to redefining mobility with premium, stylish, and technologically advanced scooters.
“We are proud of how this event turned out—not just because everyone enjoyed it, but because we showcased the features of our new premium scooter,” said Apple Magaling, Motorcycle Planning Department Manager at Honda Philippines, Inc. “As always, Honda remains committed to bringing the joy of mobility and beyond to every Filipino. With the All-New PCX160, elegance meets truly exceptional performance.”
