EastWest, foodpanda, and Visa officially launched the new EastWest foodpanda Visa Credit Card—designed as the Ultimate Foodie Card, offering instant rewards tailored to modern digital lifestyles.

EastWest, foodpanda and Visa have teamed up to create a credit card tailor-made for one of the Philippines’ biggest passions: food. Unveiled in Makati City, the new EastWest foodpanda Visa Credit Card promises to turn every craving into instant rewards, offering a seamless way for food lovers to enjoy more value with every bite.

Designed as the Ultimate Foodie Card, it gives users up to 10 percent cashback on foodpanda orders up to Php 4,000 per month—translating to as much as Php 400 in cashback. After that limit, orders continue to earn 3 percent cashback. Cardholders also enjoy 1 percent cashback on international purchases and 0.3 percent on local spending, with a maximum monthly cashback of Php 1,000 deposited weekly into their pandapay wallet.

The reward structure is crafted for a lifestyle where deliveries, dining, and digital convenience blend into everyday life.

Jerry Ngo, Chief Executive Officer of EastWest, said the three-way partnership brings together brands united by a commitment to convenience, innovation, and customer-first digital experiences. He added that the new card builds on real habits and turns routine meals into rewarding moments.

Cardholders enjoy up to 10% cashback on foodpanda orders (up to ₱400 per transaction), weekly cashback credited to pandapay, plus additional rebates on international and local spend—making every purchase instantly rewarding.

With a fully digital application process available on the foodpanda app or via EastWest’s AI chatbot ESTA, users can apply and get their approved card delivered to their doorstep. Once activated, it works instantly across all Visa-accepting channels—online or on-ground—while the automatic weekly cashback makes managing expenses more effortless.

New cardholders enjoy a waived annual fee for the first year, and the first 50,000 approved applicants get six months of free pandapro membership plus exclusive vouchers designed to enhance every order.

Foodpanda Philippines Managing Director Daniel Jaramillo said the collaboration is built on delight. With rewards landing every week, he noted that customers can now treat themselves more often to the food they love. Visa Philippines Country Head Jeffrey Navarro echoed this, saying the partnership pushes forward the next wave of secure, contactless, and rewarding digital payments in the country.

The launch also supports the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ digital payments roadmap, which aims for 70 percent adoption by 2030, while aligning with EastWest’s goal of embedding banking within the everyday digital habits of Filipinos.

Applications are now open through the foodpanda app or at www.ewlend.com/esta.
