Hot and humid conditions persisted across the country on Tuesday as easterlies continued to influence the weather, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
The weather system affected Southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao, bringing generally fair skies in the morning.
Pagasa said localized thunderstorms were expected to develop in the afternoon due to cloud build-up.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon were forecast to experience similar conditions, with possible rainshowers and thunderstorms later in the day.
In the Visayas and Mindanao, clear mornings were likely to transition into cloudy skies with rain in the afternoon or evening.
The agency said this weather pattern may persist over the next few days.
No gale warnings were issued, and Pagasa said no tropical cyclones or low-pressure areas were being monitored within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
