The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Western Visayas has gathered 150 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from across the region for the five-day 2025 Panubli-on Trade Fair, highlighting the best of local craftsmanship, creativity, and heritage.
The annual event features exhibitors from Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental, offering a diverse range of products such as fashion and lifestyle items, home décor, food and beverages, coconut-based goods, coffee, cacao products, handcrafted souvenirs, and handwoven fabrics.
DTI OIC Regional Director Ma. Dinda Tamayo said the fair serves as a platform for MSMEs to elevate their craft and celebrate the region’s rich culture.
“The products you see are not just a transformation of raw materials but the magical craftsmanship and creativity imbued in them,” Tamayo said during the opening ceremony Thursday.
She added that the fair reflects how MSMEs have advanced in product innovation, noting that “the array of new products — with attractive and functional labeling and packaging — stand at par or even higher than their counterparts.”
Tamayo also encouraged visitors to support digital payments through cashless transactions.
The DTI targets to generate around PHP8 million in sales from this year’s Panubli-on Trade Fair.
