DAVAO CITY – The Department of Social Welfare and Development in Davao Region (DSWD-11) said Thursday it is set to release the second tranche of financial assistance under the Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food and Transport (UPLIFT) program for qualified beneficiaries under Group 3.
Group 3 covers beneficiaries with qualified Social Security System accounts.
In an advisory, DSWD-11 said beneficiaries who already received their first tranche may expect the second tranche to be credited to their accounts on or before Oct. 16.
Those who previously received an advisory and successfully updated or activated their SSS disbursement accounts on or before Oct. 5 may receive both their first and second tranches by the same date.
“The second tranche will only be released to beneficiaries who remain qualified under the program’s guidelines,” DSWD-11 said.
The agency clarified that beneficiaries who do not receive the second tranche may have failed to meet the qualifications for Group 3 or may have been classified under another beneficiary group of the UPLIFT assistance program.
The UPLIFT program is part of the government’s assistance efforts aimed at providing financial support to eligible individuals and families through digital disbursement channels.
DSWD-11 advised beneficiaries to regularly check official announcements and monitor their registered disbursement accounts for updates on the release of funds.
