Discounted airfare and destination-specific packages are being offered to key spots such as Manila, Cebu, Bohol, Boracay, and Clark.
The Philippines will participate in travel fairs and sports expos, including the Seoul International Travel Fair and the Korea International Boat Show, highlighting diving, marine, and golf tourism.
Officials said South Korean tourists have long favored destinations like Metro Manila and the Visayas, prompting a focus on experiential travel and multi-destination itineraries.
Bohol continues to attract visitors for island hopping and snorkeling, while combined trips linking Bohol with Cebu or Manila are gaining popularity.
Golf tourism in Clark is being expanded, alongside programs promoting English language courses and longer stays for travelers seeking more than leisure.
During South Korean President Lee Jae Myung’s state visit, President Ferdinand Marcos highlighted Koreans’ appreciation for Philippine tourism, while Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco noted that more than 1.34 million South Koreans visited the country last year, accounting for 20.76 percent of total foreign arrivals.
