Chinese Premier Li Qiang emphasized the need to ensure smooth transportation services during the Spring Festival travel period.

He highlighted the importance of workplace safety and maintaining social stability as key priorities during the holiday season.

Li also called for improvements in the quality of tourism services, aiming to provide citizens with an enjoyable and peaceful holiday experience.

The premier made the remarks while inspecting the operations of the Ministry of Emergency Management on Saturday.

Li, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, underscored coordinated efforts among agencies to manage travel surges effectively.

Authorities were instructed to monitor transportation networks and respond quickly to any disruptions to avoid inconveniencing travelers.

The inspection tour included reviews of emergency preparedness, public safety measures, and contingency planning for high-traffic areas.

Li reiterated that ensuring safe and orderly travel, along with quality tourism services, is essential to promoting public confidence and social harmony during the Spring Festival.
