Cebu Landmasters, Inc. emerged as the biggest winner at the 14th PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards, claiming nine honors and securing its second Best Developer title in a standout night for the country’s property industry.
The Visayas-based developer’s victory marked its first Best Developer win since 2019, reinforcing its growing presence beyond its home market and strengthening its position as a major national real estate player.
Cebu Landmasters also captured Best Housing Developer, Best Developer for Visayas, and Best Developer for Mindanao, while several of its projects earned major development and design awards.
Among its winning developments were Radisson RED Cebu Mandaue, named Best Next Gen Hotel Development; North Grove at Pristina Town, which won Best Mid End Condo Development in Metro Cebu; and The Wave Towers, recognized as Best High End Condo Development in Metro Cebu.
Casa Mira Homes GenSan also took Best Housing Development in Mindanao, while Astra Lifestyle Centre received the award for Best Retail Architectural Design.
But Cebu Landmasters was far from the only company making waves.
A total of 16 organizations were recognized across 46 categories during the black-tie awards ceremony held at Shangri-La The Fort in Manila on August 20. The awards covered residential, commercial, hospitality, industrial and mixed-use developments, as well as architecture, interior design, sustainability and social impact.
Aboitiz Economic Estates strengthened its position in the industrial property sector after winning Best Industrial Developer and Best Sustainable Commercial Developer. Together with Aboitiz Land, it also earned Best Developer for Luzon.
Landco Pacific Corporation delivered another strong showing, securing Best Lifestyle Boutique Developer, Best Sustainable Residential Developer and Best Luxury Developer. Its project, The Spinnaker, was named both Best Condo Development in the Philippines and Best Condo Development in Luzon.
Other major winners included Filinvest Land, which was named Best Large Scale Housing Developer; Taylormade Development Corporation, recognized as Best Townhouse Developer; Damosa Land as Best Boutique Developer; and PHirst Park Homes as Best Community Developer.
The awards also highlighted a broader shift in Philippine real estate, with developers outside Metro Manila increasingly competing head-to-head with established national players.
PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards and Events managing director Jules Kay said this year’s winners reflected an industry continuing to attract international investment despite global economic challenges, with developers raising the bar in sustainability, design and operational excellence.
Awards chairperson Cyndy Tan Jarabata likewise pointed to the rise of regional developers, stronger sustainability standards and greater emphasis on placemaking, wellness and portfolio diversification.
The evening also honored some of the property sector’s most influential personalities.
Araneta Group chairman, president and CEO Jorge L. Araneta received the Life Achievement Award for his decades-long contribution to township, retail and mixed-use development.
Megaworld president and CEO Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso was named Real Estate Personality of the Year, while Torre Lorenzo Development Corporation director Monica D. Lorenzo received the Rising Star award.
For the night’s winners, however, the competition is not over.
Philippine awardees may move on to the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final in Bangkok on December 11, where they will compete against leading developers and projects from across the region for the coveted Best in Asia titles.
