Police arrested three men linked to a robbery at a commercial establishment in Balanga City, Bataan, after a follow-up operation that also led to the recovery of the stolen items.
The robbery was reported on August 8 at a business along Roman Highway in Barangay Tenejero. Investigators reviewed CCTV footage and traced a vehicle believed to have been used in the crime.
Police then coordinated with concerned offices to verify the vehicle’s registration and identify possible links to the suspects.
The investigation led authorities to Baguio City and Benguet, where the three suspects, aged 22, 38 and 41, were arrested early on August 9.
Police recovered cash, electronic devices, power tools, batteries, chargers and other equipment reported stolen from the establishment. The suspected getaway vehicle was also seized.
The suspects and recovered items were turned over for documentation and proper disposition as authorities prepared a robbery complaint for filing before the appropriate prosecutor’s office.
PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez commended the personnel involved, citing the quick response, coordination and evidence gathering that led to the arrests.
The PNP said the operation formed part of efforts to strengthen coordinated police response while ensuring that cases proceed through proper legal processes.
